yeah but it has been years!!!! since Meryl got her Oscar as Best Actress in a Leading Role in 1983 for Sophie's Choice and the Oscar as Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 1980
for Kramer vs. Kramer - it's not like it was yesterday - and considering she was nominated 16 times (i think, i don't know if i counted right) - it's not like she is getting it year after year
