Unfortunately I am unable to find any biographical information about Sara, or any personal details other than this shot of her on Vogue España:

I have been greatly admiring her work for the past few years, and her stying has been exceptional lately, so I thought it was time she got a proper thread on here.

i loooove her. i think she's easily one of the best overlooked stylists out there.

there's one particular ed of hers that i've been looking for.. it featured tanya dziahileva - i remember a photo where she wore an isabel marant jacket with - i believe - a grey tee & a skirt - there was an lv laptop case.. balenciaga leggings maybe? and i remember an overall.. i just can't remember the name of the ed or the issue it is in! if anyone could help me find it, please! i'd be forever grateful!

I love her work!! I think she works before Vogue in ELLE spain

Happy others love her work as much as I do!

Here is the editorial you're looking for crocetti, it's from Vogue Spain June 2010, and I agree the styling is brilliant, really glad you brought it up.

Her work interests me too. Thanks for introdcing her, Heather.

I tried to do some research on her too and here's what I found out (not much):

  • She's been the stylist on Vogue Espana editorials since at least Nov. 2008.
  • Her whole name, as far as I can tell is Sara Fernandez Castro (not 100% sure but one site listed that as her name).
The following might be her .... but it's hard to tell, since she's got a very common name. But these seem to be the sort of thing that a girl might do on the way up to a career in styling in a magazine.
  • She might be the Sara Fernandez who was a wardrobe assistant on this film: Christopher Columbus: The Discovery (1992) which was filmed partially in Spain.
  • Also there is a Sara Fernandez who was an assistant producer on the Spanish TV series "Hospital Central" in 2001 for a very short time.

FINALLY! I've missed her. I can't imagine that it's easy styling an entire editorial with pieces from only one collection, while also keeping it from look too much like an advertisement, but she did an amazing job here. Great photography by Vivanco also, loved the way he incorporated the scenery and the colors are beautiful too.

I love this styling, she is so good! This reminds me of something we'd have seen in Vogue Paris under Carine.
