HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR THE SHOW? DID YOU CHANGE UP YOUR DIET AND EXERCISE ROUTINE IN PREP?
Sara Sampaio: "This year I tried something different that I've never done before. Ten days before the show I cut out all sugars, bread, pastas, pizza, fried food, and dairy. And I started eating a lot of protein so my body handles all of the workouts. I've been doing Pilates and working out with Justin Gelbland, we intensified a little bit of the workouts, to make sure I look toned and strong on the runway!"
WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION? HOW DO YOU STAY MOTIVATED PREPPING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS?
"This is the most important and spectacular show in the world! It's viewed by millions of people and everyone wants to be in it. That's motivation enough! It's been my dream to be in the show and to be an Angel so it's the highlight of my year!"
DO YOU DO ANYTHING SPECIAL TO MAKE SURE YOUR SKIN AND BODY LOOK EXTRA RUNWAY-READY?
"I try to exfoliate my body two days before and moisturize a lot with Victoria's Secret Body Care Weightless Body Oil. Also, a sugar-free diet helps make your skin glow."
HOW DO THE WINGS FEEL?
"They feel amazing! I love wings, even if they are heavy! The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is all about the wings, they make me feel so sexy."
WHAT WILL YOU EAT FOR DINNER BEFORE THE SHOW? WHAT ABOUT AFTER?
"Before the show: A lot of protein maybe a steak with vegetables and rice. After the show: A big pizza [laughs]."
WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED FOR?
"I'm most excited for the moment I'm all ready and step out on that runway."
WHAT ARE YOU THINKING WALKING DOWN THE RUNWAY?
"To be powerful and not to fall!"
