SMG is on the cover of Dec Maxim. I can't belive it. After years of saying she is against stuff like that she poses on the cover.
It's obvious that she is doing it because she is not as young as she used to be and she is gonna have to do something to freshen up her image if she wants to keep up her career with the "it girl roles" she usually plays. She is not as big as she used to be a few years ago.

I think she looks hot in those photos- even if they aren't the most artistic, creative, or beautiful. I think she is trying to get herself back out there as an "it girl", and unfortunately, in Hollywood it takes more than talent to do that...you need to show some flesh. I think the pictures are pretty tasteful and props to her for looking so darn good! She has a really youthful appearance.

I can't believe it but I actually like alot of the Maxim pics....
Not as bad as their usual flesh pics and she looks as sexy as ever.

I don't recall her ever bashing actresses that pose for those mags but even if she has I won't hold it against her.
I can relate to having a change of opinion.

ladyflash, I can't answer that question for you, she's beautiful of course but I enjoy other (for example those 97 ones) more so yes, it matters to me

I don't like the Maxim photos. I don't think the shoot is her. I mean she did do that one for FHM once where she was in a different outfit for every month but that was fun. This serious faux-sexiness doesn't work and they made her face look old. Anyway I wish she had done it for a different magazine (considering the Sarah Jessica Parker comments in Maxim and the furore surrounding them).

She didn't bash actresses. She just said stuff like it wasn't her to show lots of skin or pose for a men's magazine or do a graphic sex scene.

She's done some pretty graphic stuff on screen. Maybe no actual full frontal nudity, but Buffy had some very adult stuff. And in Cruel Intentions, Harvard Man etc.

She's hardly prudish.
