Sarah Polley

Iwas just looking over some of the Cannes pics and I realised we don't have a thread for Sarah Polley. She's a Canadian actress who was in TV shows like "Ramona" and "Avonlea" when she was a kid. As she's grown up she graduated to films like "The Sweet Hereafter", "My Life Without Me", "The Claim", "The Weight of Water", and "Go". She's probably best known in the US for being in the remake of "Dawn of the Dead. In the past few years she's also begun directing films. She's currently 26 years old.

She was so cute on Road to Avonlea. I was a little pissed that the Story Girl wasn't brunette as she should have been but Sarah's a great actress and has a lovely voice.

she's an amazing acress and a wonderful personality. I have a lot of respect for her.

I saw her a few years back here in Toronto at Bay Bloor radio, she was so tiny and elfin looking.

i loved her in "the sweet hereafter" (atom egoyan) "and my life without me" ... there is something so calm and deep about her. very special.

She has such an interesting facial structure--a very strong jawline and big eyes. She's quite striking, and from all I've heard about her, a really cool person. Very into environmentalism and animal welfare.

I think she seems to have a good feel for what flatters her figure and she looks to be very comfortable with herself and her own aesthetic. I think she's got a nice figure, too. Slim, but not bone-skinny; she looks very natural and healthy.

yes, i like her a lot too. and i like the whole minimal make-up thing; make-up DOES hurt you (a bit) or at least your skin...and she's beautiful without it. so go her! and i like her style simply because it's easy, effortless. i love effortless elegance and calm more than poufed-up, obviously lavish style.
