Sasha Luss

I actually think you sound like me at the beginning of Snejana Onopka's career :D I was the one coming to her thread and being all negative coz I didn't like her personality but I liked her look. Sasha is a real sweetheart if I compare her to Snejana LOL can't wait to see her SS14 FTV video.

Ermm, no. I actually couldn't care less about models' personalities.

Anyway, my message was quite positive. I said that she'll go far, the the platinum looks perfect on her, that I enjoy seeing her in the catwalk and that her pretended fake coldness worked in a weird way (yes, in the runway). What's negative about that?

Of course I couldn't stand some of her answers, and I still don't, but that's one thing and saying I'm negative on her another one.

But yeah, I guess 'fans' are like this... I might like Vanessa, but when I don't like something she does I have no problem to point it out, and that doesn't mean I don't like her.

True the video is really bad. She sounds very self centered, doesn't give away that cool vibe that all the big models have. Saying your modest and too nice? But she's young. I think she really wanted to leave a good impression. Maybe she is sweet. Who knows? Why judge a person by a 30 seconds talk? And the pretentious air it's haute couture all over it.

I agree, she sounds mean in that video.

But I never meet her or know her personally, so I will give her the benefit of doubt I guess.. maybe she's a sweet person.

I'm wondered how some of you perceive what Sasha said about the levels of modeling...She perfectly knows where she started and for that talk about the big difference from working in Japan, Korea...to the level where she is now (Prada show,etc..) and she is very happy that she got a second chance to be a model on such a big level.

well actually your answer did seem pretty mean and the fact you added some nice things to sweeten the deal seemed just to calm down the fans :) at least that's how I perceived it and that's why I had to comment on it.

there's nothing negative in what you quoted but you missed the negative things you wrote, so of course there's nothing negative in repeating the positive and leaving out the negative. 'I can't stand her (that FFC video!)...I think she's too 'self-aware' and pretentious, and I find her pretended coldness too fake...'

don't quite understand what's the big deal with her saying what she said about different levels of modeling, it's true and she didn't sound mean at all coz it's not like she started her career doing a Prada show and she certainly knows it, as she said it herself how she's supergrateful that she was given another chance. anyway, I think her whatever-personality is absolutely refreshing and no, she is not that young as she's in the modeling business for over 7 years and she's got every right to be self-aware. love it or hate it, baby... and fashion people obviously love it! happy for her!

Believe this is her final showlist for the season. :flower:

Wow, 53 shows! That's impressive, glad for Sasha, she might be so tired now..

AMAZING SEASON for Sasha! :buzz:

I don't think it's what she said (since everything she's said has been very humble in the FFC video), it's how she said it in her interview that's probably getting to people.

i do understand what Creative is saying about her personality in interviews. Where idk if i'd say pretentious I do agree that her answers come across as calculated and rehearsed. She does seem like a sweet girl though, but she should just be herself instead of coming off as other models who have come before her

Wow what a great season for Sasha! Also I didn't realise how great her English is. If I didn't know about her and heard her speaking I would of thought English is her mother language.

She was at the Ralph Lauren show in Paris yesterday

^ I guess I just don't get the vibe from her that so many of you do.

She doesn't seem one bit pompous. I mean, yeah, there was that little remark about models in Asia doing refrigerator campaigns but whatever. What can you expect from these girls when they start climbing in the ranks and continue to be asked the same, empty, totally generic questions? Think about it.
