DREAMING IS NOT HARMFUL
In her 20 top-model Sasha Pivovarova become a face of Prada. Laure Ambroise

How did you come in modeling?
Accidently. Some photographer from New York, who stayed in Moscow for a while, told me about IMG agency. IMG agent comes in Moscow I invites me in Paris. As a result I was opening Prada defile – That’s how it begun to turn.

Your style?
Depends on mood. About clothes, I prefer Prada, Yamamoto, Yves Saint Laurent, Denis Simachev and Chloe.

What is in your bag?
Painting album, box with pencils and markers, iPod and my notebook. If it’s travel – sunglasses and a book. Overweight luggage – it’s not for me.

Secrets of your beauty?
Good mood, healthy food and sports a little. I’m a vegetarian. I don’t drink alcohol. I’m the biggest fan of Chinese U long tea and Puer Tea, if I need to work for all night long.

Where are you living?
Somewhere between Paris, New York, London, Moscow, Tokyo…

Your favorite places in Moscow…
Art fund Ru Arts, Justo and Zhiguli restaurants, botanic garden and Pushkin’s Museum of Arts.

Where did you get your education?
In Moscow. Learning art history in Humanitarian university.

You are a brand new face of Prada advertising campaign, what do you feel after photosession?
I worked with Steven Meisel, and it was tremendous experience. It was a great team – professional team.

Who are you 10 years forward?
Stylist.

What’s in your iPod?
Different stuff: house, trance, eastern, Chinese music, lounge, French singers like Serge Gainsbourg and Russian DJs like DJ SpyDer.

Your close plans in the future?
Keep drawing and live in dreams.

She was an art major in a university before she became a model -- probably will finish up her degree eventually, I'm guessing (If she hasn't already). How I her!
