There is no way in *hell* that I'm going to be a so called "fashion offender" just because pointy toe boots and pumps are not the trend. Is anyone else pissed off about this? I feel odd because as much as I want my pointy toe boots I'm scared I'll look like some freak walking in the streets of my city (New York)

On top of all that I can't even find any beautiful pointy toe, knee high, stiletto boots. Everything is round toe, square toe or chunky. With my height there is no way I can pull that off.

Has anyone been able to find a nice pair of classic pointy toe boots? And if so--where? I'm getting desperate. Oh and by the way I love this site and this is my first post. Please be nice, I'm a good kid just a little hyper obviously:rolleyes:

Thanks

At the high end, look to Gucci and Zanotti, at the low end Nine West - still lots of pointy boots in their offerings.

I absolutlely agree- chunky shoes suck!

The most perfect, classic, gorgeous basic boots, are by jimmy choo or manolo blahnik

Surely one can wear round toe at any height ...

But I'm sure you're not the only one. I don't think I've ever seen a round-toe Manolo. They'll continue to be available throughout the life of the trend. I'm still wearing both because I still have both in my closet. I have also been buying both (and square) because of limited choices--although lots of people here would never admit it, this town is fashion-backward in many ways, this being one :ninja: I've also always loved round because of their retro appeal and bought them when they were unusual. For spring I expect to only buy round.

The whole round toe craze is just a reaction against all those hideously elongated pointy toes a few years ago, isn't it? It's just the other end of the extreme... "Normal" pointy toes is a classic shape and won't really go out of style any time soon...

I'm with you on this one. Jumping to the other extreme happens many times...

I'm going to keep wearing my pointies!

And heels as high as I can find!
