Agreed!! They've been showcasing models who's lifestyle actually align with the magazine's aesthetic. I think these model covers might actually work for Self because they seem to be tapping into a segment of the contemporary fitness community who cares more for aesthetics than celebrities.

Karlie looks stunning here, the poses are nothing new, but I love the opening shot.

I'm quite surprised to find that she's a model. I thought she was some celebrity because of the simplicity of her presence in this editorial.

Maybe it's just me, but some of these new Self covers just feel too stiff/static for me? I like what the magazine is trying to do, but Lily Aldridge in particular just looks like a moron on her cover. Her body and face look so unnatural.
