Hello everyone.
I am looking to begin selling wholesale in Japan. I already have many buyers and I know I have a selection (Americana, street wear + vintage) which is in high demand.
Does anyone have any information on how I might, or where I might, begin/advise this to Japanese clients?

I'd like to welcome you to the Fashion Spot!

I can't answer your question ... no idea, whatsoever about approaching retailers in Japan. But I see many people have stopped by and looked at your question, so I hope someone here has some experience with this and is willing to share what they know.

Hello Taylordent,

That's a pretty good question !

I lived, and worked in Fashion for few years in Tokyo. It's pretty hard to be sucessfull brand in Japan mainly because of the language. But when they like you, they're very loyal !

I'm in luxury market, so your market is a little bit different.

Yes, there is a high demand of "Americain lifestyle brand, steeetwear and vintage". But there's a lot of shops already doing that type of stuff. (In Harajuku, I will see at least 10 shops...)

I don't really understand your request.

Do you want to know interesting departement store for your brand ?
Do you want to know cool shops ?

Departement store : Isetan, Takashimaya, Seibu, Mitsukoshi, Parco...

Trendy shops : Beams, United Arrows, Ships...etc

Could you please rephrase your question ? And I will try to help you.

Cheers,
