September 06 Covers

it's not clear that Kirsten Dunst will be either on Sep. or on Oct. cover of US Vogue but i guess it could be on Oct.

i would say it's probably october...
based on the fact that the reshoot took place last week, and the sept issue of vogue is probably already printed...
(it takes a while to print/design an issue)...

^Printed and locked in a vault somewhere. And anyone that has some information about the issue is under a gag order not to breathe a word of who is on the cover or about the contents... It always amazes me that we usually don't hear a peep about an upcoming issue of Vogue until it hits the newsstand or a day or two before.

I really hope that does not mean Janet will be on the cover on any upcoming W issues, especially September.... I like her but not on the cover of any of my fav fashion mags - however a cool feature would be interesting.

apparently W and V are covers not sure of the month tho but her album is cmg out in september

If it really should be a celeb on the cover, then I'm hoping for Charlotte Gainsbourg. I also expect Scarlett to be on at least one cover..But I prefer models of course

I don't know anything other than speculation, based on the films that are opening in August and September 2006 with pretty female stars who I could see getting the cover (or a major spread) of some magazine or another.

I can't wait for the Sept. issues to start rolling out!!! the minor players like Cosmo, Glamour, etc. should be out any day now. Followed by the first true fall fashion issue UK Elle early next month, than W!!! and UK Vogue and Vanity Fair around the same time and all the others soon after!! It's like the summer movie season, all the big guns rolling out their blockbusters!! I already get Vogue and Bazaar so check and check, I'm definately buying UK Vogue and W, and it's a strong maybe for French Vogue and VanityFair, I'll reserve judgement on the other issues till I see them, how about you guys?

I understand why magazines and their editors choose celebrities on their covers, but the ones they choose are completely absurd. At least pick a person that has something worth while to promote. I would just about shoot my head off if Denise Richards is really on the cover. I checked, she has nothing to promote. What is she known for? Dating her best friend's ex-husband.

Bazaar just had Britney Spears on the cover, don't they want to make up for that?

I've always wondered about that. US Vogue's cover is usually the last piece of news to come out. How they manage to do it, I have no clue either.
