A Toast to Sessilee

On Fashion’s Night Out, Modelinia celebrated a variety of things: the massive, late night festivities, the debut of French street-wear designer IRO’s spring/summer 2011 collection, Sessilee Lopez’s Modelinia Magazine cover! The ultra cool, ultra stylish Curve boutique provided a venue for Modelinia friends and fans to toast a new season of Fashion Week, with tunes from DJs Devendra Banhart and Gregory Rogove. Guests mingled throughout the packed space, sipping Stella Artois and noshing on delicious bite-sized stuffed cupcakes provided by Baked by Melissa. Another draw was the goods on display, with guests ogling the unique and cutting edge pieces on the racks as well as the exclusive accessories designed by Erickson Beamon.

Undoubtedly, the real highlight of the evening was when supermodel and Modelinia Magazine cover girl Sessilee arrived! Looking stunning in a charcoal grey dress with a feather-embellished neckline, paired with sexy snakeskin heels and a gorgeous statement necklace, Sessilee created a stir after posing with her cover shot with not only those inside the party, but also the many of those passing by! Sessilee and Nevena Borissova, founder and owner of Curve, posed for pictures together before Sessilee took a moment to snap pics with her fans. When we asked how she felt about being chosen as one of our four cover girls, she happily replied, “It was really exciting to find out I was on the cover! I love Modelinia and what it does for the girls. I’m so glad to be on a cover. It makes a statement.” So do you, Sessilee, so do you! ~
