I am very proud. Believe it or not her name came from "All My Children," I just spelled it phonetically so that people would pronounce it correctly - but they still don't.

That's awesome. I love unique names, like amahlia said. I have loads of favorites, but I just adore names. It's nice to see a model with a first name that no one else has. I mean, it's not their faults, but there's so many Lilys, Christys, Irinas, Alis, etc...Sessilee has an awesome name...and an awesome look. My friend was looking through an editorial of Sessilee the other day, and she was like "Whoa...who's that? She's gorgeous!" Of course, I told her everything I knew about her. Lol... love her!

If not for her idol, Sessilee Lopez might have skipped the 2004 open call that launched her modeling career. "I was like, 'Mom, we have to go!'" recalls the feline-eyed Dominican/African-American/Portuguese/Cuban 20-year-old, from a New York taxi, just minutes after jet-setting from a photo shoot in Denmark. Back then she would have done anything to get a glimpse of fashion hunk Tyson Beckford, who would be appearing at the tryout. Except the legendary male model had only big-brotherly praise and sweets for the smitten youngster. "He gives me candy," she says with a giggle.

Yep, and she was. There are three versions of the Flashing Lights video and the one you described is with Rita G, Kanye's approved version. The one with Sessilee in it was posted a while back - it's more of a Tim Burton haunted house/Clue game vibe. Unfortunately, it has now been removed from YouTube.

I heard he's releasing it on a DVD or CD as a bonus reel or something - not sure if it is true. As a cinematographer myself, it was well done - very spooky - the best out of the three (and I'm not just saying that because of Sessilee). It really was well done - although I don't know what a haunted house had to do with the song.

ya, i was really mad when it said the the video was removed on youtube. i honestly diddnt quite get kanyes concept for his video and i would have much rather seen the one that you described with sessilee.
