Seven Jeans For Men

erks... me ... why does it matter if they are "yesterday's news" jeans are jeans and if they fit well and you like the look .... wear them. I could honestly give a sh*t if they are "played" i love my cults.

I agree lele. I think the whole designer jeans thing is done. People don't care as much who makes your jeans anymore, it's more about the fit and cut of them. I'm so sick of seeing girls' butts bubbling out of a pair of jeans just because they are the hot brand of the moment :yuk: . I buy my pants based on how they make my butt and legs look and if they only cost $40 well that's more money in my fine *** pocket ;) . Like Acid said, it's not like jeans are that expensive to make

I have a pair of seven jeans, and think they look fine (M,UK)

Is it true they are to be renamed to "For All Mankind" or is that just a rumour?

they made a point of doing 7 for all mankind because they came out with a secondary line called 7 for Express...a line of jeans they are doing for the Express stores.
hmmmmm, i don't think seven would go and design a line for express. i tried them on and the fit was no where near as good as seven fro all mankinds. plus the washes were so tacky. i don't think seven would really put there name on those

i really think express is just trying to do some marketing tricks. i was in the women's section the other day and they have jeans with stitching on the pockets thats similar to 'citizens of humanity' jeans now. [/b][/quote]
they did...i have friends who work for limited brands (plus you can go into any express and see)

Ok let me set the story straight.Express did sell seven jean knockoffs and the Limited brand Company got sued by Seven. They knocked them off and even instructed the sales associates to tell the customer that they were exclusively designed for Express . This is the second time the Seven company had complained to the Company, the first time they issued a warning to remove all product form the store, they didnt so this time they will see them in court.
Second of all who cares if men wear Seven Jeans. My husband has 2 pair .He loves jeans in general. If the cut is good and they fit him , he is HAPPY.Every one has they own guilty pleasure.

wow...i am completely shocked.

i thought that seemed odd that seven would do that with express??????

The Express chain is selling jeans under the Seven7 brand name that mimics the more upscale Seven jeans sold in department stores and retail boutiques, according to a lawsuit filed yesterday. This is the second time that L'Koral, maker of the trendy 7 for all Mankind jeans commonly called Seven, is suing Express, a division of Limited Brands, over trade-dress infringement. The first suit, filed in June 2003, was settled after Express agreed to remove the Seven7 logo from its jeans.

Citizens of Humanity and Chip and pepper have some good stuff for women to and arent to big yet, i likr blue cult but they geting massive.

I dount knwo where you live lele but in LA deisgner jeans trends pop up like mad, wich is good some times becuas I love jeans. btu otehr times it gets anoying.

midwestern girl... trends get here a little later.... but thanks to some new boutiques we are getting better! the reason i like bcult is because i love soft demin with a slight stretch... the chip and peppers i have tried are too hard and stiff... maybe i have not tried the right pair! never tried frankie b......thanks for sharing your favorites!

jeans shmeeens.....i love when i see italian tourist wearing tight jeans with a little flare on the bottom (men that is) mmmmmm yummy and modern!! Its rare to see a straight man wear fitted jeans in a modern cut here in the u.s but when i do see one it drives mee craaazzyyyy so sexy and confident. I like Italian made jeans for the fabulous cut and l.a based jean for the fantastic styles

I'm a guy and I bout a pair of Seven jeans partly because I like to be in style, but mainly because they fit, feel and look great. Lets face is most of the designer brands people talk about here may be expensive, but they're made really well and look great.

I think people think Sevens on guys are "feminine" because of the whole Queer Eye and metrosexual phenomenon.

Back in the late 80's early 90's when I was in Jr. High & High school, guy and girls wore Edwin and Big John jeans (if anyone here remembers that) and nobody thought the guys were gay.

I am hetero, but I'll be honest, I'm not wearing the sevens out as much as I'd like because of general opinion of this subject.

Wow, Edwin jeans, I forgot about those... they were nice.

I was surprised when I first heard there were 7s for men, because I had only seen women wearing 7s. I tried on a pair, they fit great, I liked the wash, I bought them. I was a little self-conscious until one of the more stylish women I work with complimented me on them. Then my girlfriend complimented me on them. Now I don't worry about it too much. B) I still don't see many men wearing them, though.

really?

you walk into the houston galleria and they are EVERYWHERE now.

It just depends on where you are. There is another thread (at least one) where people are complaining bitterly about Von Dutch being everywhere.

I hardly ever see anyone wearing Von Dutch here. I guess I'm just in a backwater...
