I have to admit... I'm super excited... even though the story doesn't look spectacular, I look forward to the makeup and fashion and seeing the girls on the big screen again.

I have to be honest, and it pains me to say, but this looks bad, just looks like they are milking it now, hope i am wrong, and of course i wouldnt miss it. Oh and cool to see Noah hahah.

I'm VERY excited for the film, as I can never get enough Sex and the City, but it does pain me to say too, I am worried it's going to be a complete and utter disaster.

Fingers crossed it's not.

i agree, i finished watching the whole series from beginning to end again not that long ago and i really hate that there aren't any more, so i will definitely be going to see this film as well...

but it's true that the show has really been a victim of its own commercial success. it used to be about real issues (albeit dressed up in a fun, fashionable package), but the movies seem to be nothing but teenage girls' wish fulfillment fantasy. adults as well, actually, and it's sad that instead of the 'female empowerment' vibe it used to give off, these days the message is more like 'don't you wish your life was all about cocktails 'n cupcakes 'n shoes?!' certainly there was an element of that in the tv show but it's so much more blatant now.

i'll still eagerly await the fashion of course! but even that doesn't appeal to me in quite the same way, far too much polish and product placement...
