LEONOR GREYL, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HAIR DREAM ABOUT HER

Behind the success of the LEONOR GREYL brand, there are all the ingredients of success: the expertise of more than 35 years in hair care treatment using only natural products, the passion of healthy and glamorous hair and the most important: the love of her profession.

LEONOR GREYL is a brand, a range of hair care products, an institute, a family business, where everyone is passionate by hair beauty.
The meeting with her future husband Jean-Marie Greyl, in 1968, decided the creation of LEONOR GREYL brand.
Jean-Marie Greyl has an extraordinary knowledge in botanics. Plants have no secret for him.

Natural is not yet the fashion but it is at this time that the first products have their success and continue to have success today. The first treatments are called: PALM OIL, WHEAT GERM OIL, MAGNOLIA   , HONEY SHAMPOO, CREAM OF FLOWERS…
Success is immediate. The most prestigious hairdressers of Paris and abroad grab up LEONOR GREYL products, making them a must for their most experienced clients.

LEONOR GREYL is now the brand specialist in hair treatments by using natural ingredients. Created with delicate aromas and plant extracts, the products give our hair more brilliance, more glamour and more beauty.

LEONOR GREYL has for the first time incorporated vitamins in her shampoos. The first oil that washes and cure while foaming to water contact, the Wheat Germ Oil, is signed LEONOR GREYL, the first gentle use dandruff shampoo, Propolis Treatment Bath is also LEONOR GREYL, the excellent Cream of Flowers that takes care of the driest hair is again LEONOR GREYL, the divine Mask of Jasmin, the Bamboo Shampoo for long hair is once again LEONOR GREYL.

Adored by the press, public, top models, VIP’s and beauty experts, LEONOR GREYL has received the prestigious Prize of Excellence by Marie Claire in 1999 for the brand, the Prize of Consumers and the Cosmetic News Oscar given by the professionals in the same year.

A family story...

Caroline Greyl, second generation, graduated from an international business school , proudly carries LEONOR GREYL into the 21st century. Today, under the guidance of Caroline, the brand is present in more than 450 hairdressers, in 50 department stores, 60 Sephoras and in more than 20 countries. With her American husband, biologist, chemist and plant lover, they will continue the success of this family tradition.

Thanks so much for the info on Fructis! I never knew

I'm going to try out the Bedhead/Tigi products. I found them at a great price at a local beauty supply store.

Does anyone know how are the scents?

i guess its just really hard to find pictures of, its kind of like tom delonges hair in the new blink 182 video. anyway, im like halfway there now, adn i was wondering, what hair products do you recommend to keep my hair shiny and full. i have been using Bed Head Control Freak shampoo and conditioner for about a week now, and its working decent, but i was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions. i dont care how much it costs or anything, what im using now cost 25 bucks for a bottle of shampoo and conditioner which i think is pretty expensive, but if i need to pay more to have my hair look good i dont really care.

I love REDKEN.
My hair is long, permed, colored...etc. and damaged and their products are just so amazing for me.
but seems like your hair type isn't the same as mine and you are looking for something different as well, not sure about REDKEN's other products.

Normally I use Charles Worthington (the name has a kind of antique value...)...

CW makes all sorts of shampoo - I used it when I had shaved hair and I still use it now (my hair drops well below my shoulder-blades, but y'know what they say about men with long hair)...

I use BioSilk shampoo and conditioner. Trust me on this... I used to get my hair colored and curled and straightened and braided and styled this way and that way. Let me tell you how sh*tty and ratty my hair was. Biosilk really helped to fix the problem. It's kind of expensive though... and can only be found in salons.

But I also find that citrishine works wonders too. It works just as good as Biosilk and smells a thousand times better. It's not very expensive at all. In fact, I once found in a supermarket for 2 dollars.

I find the best shampoo/conditioner for my hair is by Tony & Guy. It's called 'Mega Shine' and it just makes my hair feel better than any other product I've used. I have quite thin hair, but lots of it - so I need to wash it on a regular basis, and this product is kind in that respect.

Also, if you're growing your hair out, try Terax creme - it helps stop split ends so you can go longer before you need a trim/cut

I swear by Aveda and Aesop

for shampoo I love Aveda Pure Fume Brilliant Shampoo or Aesop Gentle Scalp Cleanser
for conditioner I like Aveda Sap Moss Conditioning Detangler

hth :flower:

i don't know how true this is but i heard that shampoos that contain ammonium laureth sulfate (the stuff that makes shampoo all bubbly) is actually drying to your hair, so i try to stay away from shampoos that have that in them. then again like i said i don't know how true that is cuz i see a lot of higher end shapoos that contain it.

stuff that i've used and liked . . .

- Burt's Bees shampoo bar (all natural ingredients and leaves ur hair feeling really, REALLY squeaky clean)
- Bumble & Bumble sunday shampoo
- Kiehl's amino acid shampoo, Kiehl's castille shampoo
- Kiehl's Silk with Creme Groom
- any conditioner from the above brands

i really, really endorse Kiehl's products. they cost me a pretty penny but nothing compares to them. i really like the Silk with creme groom. its like a leave-in conditioner and it leaves ur hair really shiny and soft and it doesn't even feel like theres anything in your hair.

i've grown my hair out too (think tom cruise in mission impossible 2). so kudos to you, cuz i dunno about you, but it took me forever to grow it out enough to cut it in the style i wanted it.

Clinique Gentle Wash for shampoo and Clinique Dramatic Moisture for conditioner. This stuff is amazing

Prince of Cats....
no...don't know....what do they say?
BTW..have you taken that trip to Russia yet?

Oh
I just thought they needed more shampoo :innocent:

Recently I started using a brand called ARTec. As its website shows, the company was bought by L'Oreal.

I'm not sure about its availability outside the U.S. but it's doing a good job for me so I thought I'd add it to our list of already plenty.

anyone else like Dumb Blonde Reconstructor? I'm addicted.

Also, you might just want to use any old shampoo/conditioner with a rebuilding protein in it. My brother is a surfer and his hair gets really crunchy from all the salt, so he uses (o god he'd hate me forever if his friends ever found this out) Aussie hair products. The three minute miracle is really great.

What about Kerastase? I use this line for sun damaged hair in summer and for gently wash scalp and I find it's great. I use also Terax latte and Terax Bambini, two good shampoos. To add shine to my curly hair, I use Bumble&Bumble. Hi!!

Shampoo

I just ran out of Aveda Rosemary mint. Can anyone recommend something better?
