I'm always happy to check this thread, some kind of guilty pleasure or madeleine de Proust that takes me back to the days fashion was a really exciting world for me and buying magazines seemed as natural as having lunch... Though, it's not just notaslgia that drives me here, I must say her work is still what it has always been (and -seemingly- will always be as long as she keeps wandering near a camera).
I've checked a few pages this morning and saw she hasn't lost a single bit of genius as a model since her early days: the two stories by Jacques Olivar, that series from Dazed & Confused, her nonstop collaboration with Sofia and Mauro, and now the cherry on the cake, these gorgeous photographs by Silja Magg; effortlessly and naturally ravishing for the eye.
She may not make the headlines like the newest and oh-so-bloody-sensational face of the season but her work still has its effect on me, unlike several editorials today. Kind of relieving to realise genuine talent hasn't toally disappeared from fashion modeling and photography.
