Shiseido Skincare Products

used the Pureness range when I was a teenager, suited my skin well back then but not anymore

don't really like The Skincare range, was given a sample pack and everything seemed very basic, nothing amazing

interested in trying Future Solution though (which Lena loves :D) but I might give it a few more years

oh and their sunscreens are quite good, well formulated, broad spectrum, etc

just like PradaP said, The Skincare range is very basic, no harm but nothing impressive at all. I find the moisturizers too runny, not moisturizing but leaves a film of grease
the only product from this line that I like a lot is the Hydro Refining Softener. it's quite an amazing toner, I can really tell the difference when it's not used (especially when I apply makeup).

I think my mother said that she liked the Benefiance line, suits her dry skin well.
and I love the Benefiance Creamy Cleansing Foam for myself ;)
I was also told by her that the Bio-Performance range was just alright.

What about the "Gentle Cleansing Foam"???

Is that any relation to the Benefiance Creamy Cleansing Foam you guys were talking about?? I was thinking about buying it.

Gentle Cleansing Foam might be from the TS range I think. All their product names are a bit similar so it can get a little confusing sometimes I think

I don't think the "Gentle Cleansing Foam" is from the Benefiance line

ask Lena......she is a BIG fan of some of their creams

i swear by shiseido's elixir range.
i don't think that it's available at many places that carry shisieido here in the usa, though... sephora and all of the shiseido counters that i have been to here do not carry anything elixir, but perhaps that's just here in san antonio. i buy my stuff at an asian store here, and the entire range is also available at neobeauty.com. i highly suggest it!

Elixir's unique skincare products, used morning and night, penetrate deep into the dermal and epidermal layers of the skin to protect against environmental hazards-releasing rich moisture and resillence from within. Dullness and dryness caused by environmental factors like cigarette smoke and exhaust fumes and the sun's UV rays rob your skin of moisture and resilience. Improved Elixir with the antioxidant Thiotaurine, actually penetrates deep into the lower layers of the skin, releasing rich moisture and resilience for a luminous, radiant glow. The result would be your luminous skin with moisture and resilience generated from within.

the elixir cleansing foam, vitalizing softener, and toner are my absolute favorite skincare products and are a permanent part of my regimen
the pore minimizing toner stick is also great.

i love 'gentle cleansing foam' its by 'the skincare' line leaves skin real clean and soft, adorable feeling

as everyone seems to know, i'm a hardcore Shiseido girl.
it all started with a bio-performance jar and i'm here to prove
Shiseido works wonders if one sticks with the brand.
Currently a Future Solutions user -since the day of the launch-
i wouldnt change this for anything. I recomented this to a friend
with dry skin -drinks, smokes and is 30+- i just couldnt believe
the difference it made on her skin.

who needs cosmetic 'corrections' when one can have Shiseido?
Using it from a 'young-ish' age makes a huge difference ;)

Well, from the Shiseido Men line, I really like their Cleansing Foam; best one of its kind I've used!

one of my friends can't live withought the Elixir range, but I find it only okay for me.
actually, I think most Shiseido products don't really work impressively on my skin.

Question

Has anybody tried :

Shiseido Brightening Veil spf 24 or
Shiseido Smoothing Veil ..and what do you think of it ?
:flower:

almost all of the members of my family are using shiseido products & everyone is very satisfied. too bad my skin is hyper sensitive thus as much as possible, i have to use all natural products or better yet, home-made products. i only use shiseido's relaxing fragrance & it really smells fantastic!

Although this gets my skin really clean, i find it leaves my skin a bit too tight/taut and dries up straight after. I prefer Cle de Peau's cleansers.

Maybe i should try Shiseido's ladies range instead or something..

Shiseido

i did a search and couldn't find a thread about shiseido skincare products...
do we have one?...

i really like them and...
i am wondering about some of their products...

:flower:...

*especially the 'refresher oil'...

does anyone use it?...
thoughts?...

apparently it is one of their best selling products...would like to hear your experiences with that and any other shiseido products...

thanks..:flower:

All the shiseido i have used so far are lovely!!!
The products are really soft and non irritating, which is a bit amazing...at least for my skin! :p

From the skincare range i´ve tried:

*Purifying cleansing foam
*Hydro balancing softner (toner)
*Day essential moisturizer with spf10- loved this! :) although it´s pretty fluid, it moisturizes and leaves the skin feeling reaaaaally soft!
*Multi energizing cream (has a woderful smell and leaves the skin gorgeous!)

I have used a lot of their foundations and powders since their products match my skintones much nicer than others. Their liquid foundation is great b/c of the spf 40-something in it.

As far as skincare, I've only tried the Pureness mattifying moisturizer which I use only in the day before putting on makeup. If you have very dry skin, I wouldn't recommend it because it's very very light moisturizer. It does help cut back on some of the oilyness but I like it primarily because it's oil free and helps my makeup go on easier.
