Hi.

I really didn't know where to post this and felt i needed to start a new thread as i couldnt find the answers i was looking for on any current threads.

Note, this is for Australia so we are a bit behind on the trends.

So, i am looking to buy a pair of shoes and i have the short criteria of..

-Black
-High heels
-Will last more than one season.
-Suede would be ideal as i love that look or i'd settle for leather.

There is a pair of Cork-Wedge Pump in Black Suede that i like but i am worried about the cork heel and the wedge and being quite seasonal.

Anyone have any ideas for finding a good shoe.

Thanks in advance.:flower:

I think this should be in the Shoe section...

If you want to find good shoes look at Mollini, Nine West or Midas shoes. Gary Castles and Apex shoes also have a good choice, its expensive but worth it.They have websites but its best to go to the store and checkout the whole collection.

I wouldn't go for cork, it looks cheap and tacky.

try net-a-porter. up to the minute trends even in aus.

also, depends how much you're willing to spend. maybe louboutins. they're timeless!

People often wonder about wedges being uniseasonal, but if you have a look back over the years, wedges are around every single year, even if not centre stage. I don't think you'll have a problem with seasonality if you go for a strappy wedge.
What state are you in so i can suggest some stores to try?

P.S. I don't think Australia is that far behind the 8-ball, the trends are just interpreted differently cause of the opposing seasons.
