hi buggy.....ok, those are the ones i saw then, i guess i didn't recognize them.
i looked at the listing; it says the platform is "Bamboo"?
If it's actually wood, it might look a lot better in real life than in the pics. Maybe email the seller and ask what it is actually made of?

also have you seen these....they are still pricey--about half as much as the chloes, but they do come in black.

I like the black patent best, I think it just looks sharper and more striking with the wood heel. I'd probably like the buckles more if they were also black patent.

What do you guys think of the MiuMiu heels below? Too boring? I want a pair of black patent shoes for fall that aren't peeptoed. (pic from Styledrops)

Boring? Not at all.

That's what a Black Patent Pump SHOULD look like, if you want the clunky heel, rounded toe.

Nothing wrong with those at all (except the pricetag).

guessgirl, I'm going to go against the grain and say I prefer the brown patent--it's richer and more unexpected and i think it will be gorgeous with grey tights.
