Shoes: yay or nay? #1

Rosalynn - Its a yay I think, but I think they would be better in a darker brown.

These are the darker brown ones if anyone wants to yay/nay them compared to the beige version above. I like the fact the stacked wood heel is clearer on the beige ones plus I have a pair in black patent so like the summery beige in contrast. Thanks for the replies so far!

I prefer the brown ones never seen them in that dark brown coluor (only in conage brown) - they look very good !!! actually the colours I don't like very much are beige and gold I don't like them in patent version either...

so If I were You I would take the brown ones

I like the darker ones more. But that is beacause if I was buying them the darker would go wit more of my things. If you prefer the light get them, either way Yay!!!

rosalynn, yay to either pair. I like the lighter color for summer more but I'd personally go with brown because it would go better with most items in my wardrobe.

I am going to Yay! the sandals in Post #10,701... but not in that color. Later in this page, you noted the dark brown ones. Those are lovely in dark brown. Also, so THAT is what the Yves Saint Laurent Tribute deal is all about... Nice shoes. They're a keeper, Rosalynn! Go get 'em!

Now on to the zip ankle boot wedges bt Rick Owens in Post #1,709. Same story- Yay! to those boots, but not in that color. To me, I would absolutely avoid trying to wear those boots with your average blue jeans just because of that color. The boots themselves are alright... I just don't like the color. If you can find those boots in more favorable or more versatile colors, then I'll definitely yay those.



So make that two yay's for the two shoes... only that I don't like the colors they come in (except the dark brown YSL Tributes). Go show some style!

*squints* you might be right. They look a weird blue-ish colour on my screen.

If they are black then definitely yay! (just be careful of wearing them when exposed to flash photography )

Love. Angel. Music. Baby. Time to talk about those L.A.M.B. boots. This is going to surprise a lot of you about me. While I'm not crazy over open-toe boots, and while I'm not crazy over cage-like design shoes... I'm going to Yay! these. Black or white will serve you well with these. They aren't beautiful, but quite lovely. You want a voice of approval of those? You got mine.

STYLEOCIDE: Yay! to these. The design's very interesting. The caged look is everywhere, but I've never seen it done this way. I'm leaning towards the ones in black.
My only concern is that your littlest toe might end up awkwardly peeking out because of the cut of the straps. Other than that, they're lovely!
