I sported short hair last year (shoulder-length, to me that's short since i could NEVER go any shorter than that ) and I JUST got it to the long length I always wanted, so i'm not cutting it any time soon!!

I had pretty long hair (below the bra strap) but it was in bad condition and I cut it just above my shoulders. BAD MOVE. It makes my face look twice as wide and gives me a serious man-jaw. Not to mention I now look like I was severely beaten with the ugly stick

It's amazing the difference hair makes to the way you look - I haven't been able to wear my hair anyway except tied back for the last 3 months and probably not for the next year at least

Me too, it's tempting, but on the wrong facial structure, it can look so terrible.... and growing out hair is such a PAIN.....

but over years didn't look as healthy

went all the way short --- 1-2 inches long all around
a la Halle Berry when she had it super short & funky
best thing i did
immediately felt "aaaaaaaaaaah"
THIS is ME.

so all y'all who feel like taking the plunge:
do you look better with your hair pulled up/away for your face,
then it'll most likely look better....
especially if most of your features are small.

i found shoulder length hair - after the age of 28, made me look old and mumsy - in a NOT-GOOD way.

please post more pics
i'd like an option w/ 3-4inch long hair.
