Shorts With Rainboots?

I saw this combination on the Polo web site. I think it looks veery sharp for casual weekends. It looks like shorts (or a mini), worn with knee socks and rainboots. Any opinions ladies? Would you wear it?

I wouldn't, but I wouldn't wear rainboots with anything but a slicker and umbrella. (and of course normal clothing underneath; I'm not a pervert!)
