Exactly....new ones for show castings are made up right before show season.

They might include close up head shots and full body shots. Clients and casting directors see so many models a day that sometimes this is the only way to remember them. Each one cost the models 1 or 2 american dollars and a hundred or so of them are made up each season.

no i didn't. :p i said Elise didn't do any couture show this time and i missed seeing her at couture shows. but she might be doing NY fashion week. we just don't know because i don't think model.com will show DNA's package. :glare:

and one dumb question, does an agency decide its show package? they select the potential ones and the hot ones? can a model have her own choice on this one? :flower: oh i can't seem to find Tiiu's show card. :shock:
 
The agency decides, sometimes big money or publicity (for a new girl) is at stake and they aren't going to take any chances.

I've been missing tiiu too.
 
^ thank you for educating me, model_mom. :D it's a shame that there are still a lot of gorgeous out there but i never get to see them on the runway.
 
There are so many beautiful young ladies that show up in NY for fashion week and all it takes is for that one special break,contact person or photographer to notice you and you have a ticket to stardom.... whether it be the runway or editorials or campaigns.

really?! phew! i thought you meant fw 06 shows and i was like crap! :cry: :cry:. but it's all good then. at least there's no news that she's not doing it. lol yeah DNA's one probably wouldn't show up even though it would be great if it did!
 
Has anyone ever figured out what went wrong between DNA and MDC? Totally weird if they don't show DNA's show packages... :innocent:

I would really want to see Snejana and Doutzen's cards!

i hope that they just missed showing the Anne-Marie show card. i saw Amanda Moore and Dovile's show cards on IMG website, but moels.com didn't show them. so there is still a hope that Anne-Marie might be doing NY fashion week. :)
 
yeah! Good thing!! I really hope she will be there! :) I think she brings a little something different to the runway...
 
so if a model doesnt have a card shes not doing it?

because ines crnkrack wasnt on the one pack but she had a prety good season last time
 
I'm not sure....possibly other girls are sent on the show castings or maybe this is just a sample of their show cards. I know from one season to the next some models change in body size or look and they might not be sent on the castings.
