Sienna Miller

I know it's a bit of a simple look and a déjà-vu silhouette but I can't help but love this.

The color is gorgeous, I love the beading, I love the tuxedo inspiration. It's extremely elegant, completely on theme and not over the top. I keep thinking that Tina Chow could've totally wore something like that back in the day, and I love it.

Best dressed tonight for me

i longed for a darker lip and maybe a sheer tank under the jacket, but overall this is a great look.

Love the tassle detail on the jacket, and she was clever to go for a simple hairstyle. She looked good actually.

I didn't like it at first but now I've looked at the outfit properly, I really like it. I like its subtlety.

I like this. The colour is great on her.

Interesting she's with another of Anna's "favs".

Preparing for the MET last night:

The suit is very theme appropriate, but somehow...I just don't get Sienna from it! Maybe it's the hair, if it had been styled differently. And the makeup also ages her quite a bit...

Vanessa Friedman implied on Twitter that she looked like a Spanish matador, and I think that was spot on.

I give her credit for not wearing a boring minimalist gown though, there were way too many of those.

I have to say, I love this look more and more every time I see it.

She has really nailed the big events this year - the Globes, the Oscars and now the Met Gala.

I agree completely with the spanish matador comment too. If it was a spanish themed party she would have truly nailed it;)

Amazing choice! Unordinary and very Sienna. But for me it would be 100% perfect if she wore top under the jacket.

Agreed.. so totally makes it work though haha

Yes, she looked like a Spanish matador.
The theme was China through the ages, she misunderstood the theme but i think she looked great. Cool look!
