Sienna Miller

i read from a magazine that she's a former model turns actress........

oh, i know what happened! kate moss hasn't been out in a while, and sienna has no one to draw on for, um, er, um, "inspiration!"

I agree! she copies Kate Moss, and so many people cant see that! Look at her outfit above, she's wearing short boots which Kate has been wearing recently - look at kate Moss thread! Sienna's classic look which has contributed towards her fame, (fur gilet and ugg boots) kate was wearing this way before we'de even heard of a 'Sienna Miller!'

so true, so true.....!!!!

I've never seen Kate in a fur gilet and Uggs - please enlighten me.
Am I the only one who doesn't think Sienna copies Kate-

Sienna : Boho Barbie
Kate : Rock Chic

Lady Muck: Bored of Boho (already!)

5'3....I don't think so.....
that will make her so much smaller when she's next to Jude...isn't it?

she's 5'6.

am i the only one who doesn't think that she is all that interesting and stylish? i mean its not like its anything you haven't seen before.

and if i saw her down the street i probably wouldnt be able to spot her unless she was with jude:yuk:

I liked her in Alfie. :flower: she resembles the young Marianne Faithfull and from her interviews she seems nice. But as far as style is concerned Kate's the style leader .Sienna's style is too contrived.Sometimes she looks good but most of the time she's trying too much. Overall I like her :flower:

there are tons of pics of kate wearing fur gilet and uggs in 2003 - just go to getty images.

does anyone NOT think she's pretty?

seriously, if she wasn't w/ jude law, i am sure the mags wouldn't be raving about her so highly - she's average, in my opinion!

She does look average from the outset but with a good haircut she looks pretty. I really like her with a bang and in Alfie she's really cute.
She's an actress anyway and for an actress she looks good. Beauty and style are two different things ( Sarah Jessica Parker is considered to be a fashion icon and she's not a beauty is she?)

Being Jude Law's girlfriend sure help but let's be fair if you could have Jude would you refuse to be his girlfriend because it would brieng you in the spotlight? :innocent: I saw Alfie last week and Sienna is a good actress. She would have been noticed without Jude Law even though there's no denying she became famous because of him.

Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan of her style but I think people are hard on her .

i have very mixed feelings about sienna:

first of all, whether we like it or not, sienna is a revolution in fashion... it's her style 99% of british girls are copying, (unfortunately) not kate's. i think kate may seem a little too old to teenagers so they hung onto a younger version.

however, to me she is but a trend follower that got lucky... magazines talk about her like she's a style mogul and the "fashion police" always give her top marks and say she never gets it wrong... hello? since when was an outift consisting of a pair of jeans, boots, a multicoloured poncho and a white bag "fashion forward"? i just don't get it. i DO see appeal in the olsens / kirsten dunst / etc's style, you either love it or hate it, but they have the originality sienna is lacking of.

to be honest... we're all talking about her clothes INSTEAD of her movies!!! that must suck a lot to her (or maybe not so much since she gets tons of free clothes from designers now) because she's an actress, not a model.

ETA: i forgot to say that sometimes i wish she dressed in a more classical way... i think she's a classic beauty and could well be the new gwyneth paltrow... instead she chose the beggar chic look, oh well...

I share your mixed feelings about her style but i have to admit she's growing on me . From the interviews I've read she comes across as a very nice girl . I remember her being worried by the fact that people had first heard of her because of Jude and her style .Actually she didn't choose to be overexposed . she's starting out so we'll have to wait and see if she last as an actress. I think she can make it , she was good in alfie she had a strong screen presence.

This is where I'm going to disagree with you MissP. Even though IMO Sienna and Kate do not have the same style, Sienna does "borrow" alot of what Kate wears. from the gillet, uggs, poncho, the cape, big white bag, etc. British girls are still copying Kate. Maybe Kate is not perceived as accessible to younger girls as Sienna. Also it takes a while for "celeb" trends to become popular.

I think everyone is being hard on her, and none of the criticisers ever take into account what she herself thinks-she has said many a time she doesn't like the fact her fame happened overnight and she doesn't feel like she deserves it yet, and she would like to wait until she has a leading role out (which she will when Casanova comes out next year). If you want to blame someone, blame the media, not her. Everyone is media made to a certain extent, no matter whether you are a supermodel, actress, singer, or a famous British actor's girlfriend.
