I agree. Since she cut her hair I don't admire her as much as I used to... she's kind of messy now.

I think she has always been kind of "messy". In a good way. Not overly styled or contrived. Think back her messy pony tail she wore with the blue dress, or long dark hair with the purple dress. All little "messy", for lack of a better word, but young, fun and not at all stuffy. Actually, I think her short hair make her look a bit more polished than her long flowy, wavy hair. But I love it all. It annoys me when some actresses look too polished on the red carpet.
