I don't know. I think it was around the time the Daniel Craig rumours came out people started ragging on her a lot. Before that she had a lot of sympathy for being cheated on and then scorn for taking Jude back but after 2004-5 lot of the press got really mean even for the smallest of things. She has said some stupid things in interviews, partied publically a fair bit and her style changed but nothing public to deserve a lot of the vitriol that gets thrown her way a lot.

I noticed around that time and the time her movies were coming out. She was getting a lot of flack for taking Jude back after he cheated on her. She also, apparently, made a lot of "snotty" comments about the places she was filming, men she had been with, celebrities in general, little stupid things like that, that got her on people's ****-lists because she sounded like a snob. I think it was blown out of proportion though---she was just talking/replying to a stupid question. I mainly think it was just the thing of her being new and fabulous, everybody seemed to love her, then people getting sick of someone who was up so high so they decided to bring her down. Now it's mellowing out again. That's just the way the celeb world works---they bring you up to tear you down.

Personally, I adore her. My love for her started out as a way to annoy my sister for being impossibly obsessed with Jude Law but now my adoration for Sienna has morphed into something I can't quite describe. I think a lot of the flack she receives is motivated by other people's jealousy. She's a media darling and I think it's easy to pick on her because she is impossibly beautiful and is almost always flanked by gorgeous men at parties and on film sets. She seems incredibly vivacious yet completely down to Earth and half the time, behaviour like that is incorrectly interpreted and suddenly she's a 'snob' or a 'b*tch' or a 'flirt' because she's so candid about her thoughts. It's sad really. I think she's a fantastic actress and would make for an amazing best friend, but in all truth I'm glad she's not being torn to shreds so much anymore because it saves me (and many of you!) constantly defending her, haha.
