Do lemon and hyroquinone fix the problem permanently? I will defintely try if they get rid of dark patches forever. But if the colour comes back after you stop, then I'm not willing to rub lemon on my skin for the rest of my life!

This is extremely common in most people of color (black, asian, hispanic, indian, etc) It's NOT caused by the sun at all. It's called hyperpigmentation. Exfoliate, moisturize and bleach.
