SMELLS LIKE NIKI TAYLOR
NIKI TAYLOR is ready to unveil her scent to the world. The bombshell blonde supermodel, who has made a full recovery from the near fatal car crash she suffered in April 2001, will launch her first fragrance, Begin by Niki Taylor, in the autumn next year. "I'm not coming out with a record [or] a new movie," she told Women's Wear Daily. "It's just me, Niki Taylor, the ceo, the businesswoman, the single mom. I think a lot of women can relate to me that way. I'm not J-Lo, I'm not Britney Spears - I'm relatable and touchable." A self-confessed perfume junkie, Taylor is planning to develop the brand into cosmetics and apparel eventually and she is determined to share the love. Having set up her company, Begin Enterprises, in January 2003, she created a charitable arm off it that helps three women a year to write a business plan and get the necessary funding to set themselves up. "I was lucky enough [to have] the money and the resources [to start a business]," she went on. "There are so many women out there that don't have the money and this is my best way of paying it forward - to give back and help them out." (November 15 2004, AM)
