Snejana Onopka

I only hope she walks Fendi this time, she always says its her favourite show and she hasn't walked it since FW08. That was her last decent season I think. It's been down hill runway-wise since SS09 when the blonde tri-fecta of boredom (Toni, Anna J and Sigrid) took over.

When is D&G? I didn't see it on the schedule that's posted in the Designers section.

Fendi is on Thursday and I agree with CK about hoping to see her make a return to it. Bunch of shows on Friday that she walks in, including Blumarine and Versace, so we should at least see something then?

D&G is usually on the first day of Milan Fashion week. I can't remember if it's the first show or not.

I thought it was Dolce and Gabbana (mainline) that takes place later in the week and D&G right at the beginning.

All I gotta say is "sexy back" ya'll...
omfg loving her showcard. That first shot from her Vogue Italia is gorgeous!

I was just thinking today, is it really possible that she's had SO LITTLE work in the last couple years? I understand that models have short careers and they're in for a couple of seasons and then out they go. But Snejana's career has been so strange the last couple of years. She only walks a dozen or so shows each season, but they're pretty much all major shows. She had a couple of eds and covers the last year, but they've also been very good work. AND NOT A SINGLE campaign in the last four or five seasons (not counting Gucci Cruise). So, my thinking was, is it possible that Women is purposefully keeping her on the downlow with the plan to re-launch her? Like they're getting her just enough work to keep her visible but mostly absent so they can create some hype with a 'comeback'?

It's probably just wishful thinking, but is that at all possible? I mean look at Iselin, another Women comeback. Because you would think when Snejana was moving from DNA to Women, there was some kind of game plan, no?

i wonder the same thing too.i think it comes down to lazy managing.with her peers getting so much work and their mostly on the same post-babydoll boat.i just don't get it.
as for the comeback, Snejana would have to leave the industry for a while for it to work. Iselin is a student, that's why she's always having these never-ending comebacks, she's not available all the time.

I really do hope it's true. I was thinking about her in relation to the other models that came about when she did. Natasha is still here because she is sexy and a lot of people want that. Sasha is getting some work, she was the most famous of the bunch. Vlada is the cute one, and is constantly reinventing her look to keep herself "fresh". Snejana is the most high fashion, couture model of them all. I don't see why she isn't still getting much work unless it's because she doesn't really like modeling (she's said that before), her agency is become a tad lazy (in which case she should find a new one), or they are in fact gearing up for a comeback (the best option of the three). I do not see that happening though. She is the most exclusive of the high profile models, and maybe she likes it that way...I don't know. Sorry for the long, rambling post. ;)

Also, her show card is lovely. ^_^

if those random eyebrow things weren't there I'd like her show card more since it's picture perfect.
