Isn't it the first time she's walking for him ? The move to Silent brought a lot of surprises so I think she didn't choose to do Zuhair; she went through casting and all that I guess.

It is her first time walking for him.
I'm pretty sure she doesn't go to castings, she's said a number of times that she chooses who she walks for (probably to an extent though).

I know but Zuhair Murad is no Chanel or Balmain or Gucci, which she always walks for.
i really dont understand why she doesn't go to the castings. what's so terrible about it? i dont get it. she could walk for every designer then~ she is so talented
She has walked for pretty much every designer. She doesn't anymore (unfortunately) because she's an established girl and doesn't need to walk for everyone of them anymore, that's where new girls get a chance to make a name for themselves.

Why does the money have to be "that good" and not just be the going fee, give or take? How do you expect her to make the rent?
How long ago did she say this? I can see her not having to go to castings for designers that have already booked her like D&G and Elie Saab, especially if her measurements and appearance have not changed, but if there is a new designer or a designer that she has not walked for in a while, I can see her, and other models at her level, having to go to a meeting or a casting. Now some of them choose not to go or are be selective about whose castings they will go to. I interpret the comment as a generalization and not necessarily that she never goes to castings.i really dont understand why she doesn't go to the castings. what's so terrible about it? i dont get it. she could walk for every designer then~ she is so talented

Nope you did not, and I did not mean to sound abrupt or like I was questioning you. It's just that Snejana has made a lot of changes in recent months, and that comment may have been made during a different phase in her career, and even if it was made recently I don't think that she means that she never goes to casting, it was just a generalization.
PS:
My guess is that after a certain point in a model's career, designers either want them (or think that it's a possibility) or they don't and models go through the special request process more than the casting process.
