The jaw guards
this is stunning it's very close to bruno's earlier, quiet decadence-meets-medieval aesthetic but somehow i still enjoy. the execution is perfection.
thanks so much for the pics, somarta and j.tashiro are my fav always at JFW.
This is pretty tame for her... very toned down. not boring, though, but it is definitely much less experimental than she usually goes. it's obvious though that the focus was instead put into refining it all. so many lovely pieces
^I second that, Inaya
I really love the tooled leather and the brocade pieces, just wonderfully textured...I'm craving those jaw guards as well
My favourite show from Tokyo by far! I love all of the lace and the leather neck pieces. It looks so... strong. Like battle armor.
fantastic! the construction is pretty impresive!
Always my favourite show in Tokyo.......
same, well that and Junya Tashiro. speaking of, I am in dire need to see pics, I can't find them anywhere D:
will have to wait for jfw to post, I guess.
Few more images
Oh I love it. So many textures!
I want all the coats!!!!!
I like the textures.
the magenta coats are beautiful, i like this collection overall reminds me of prada actually a bit
It's a very accessible take on the Medieval/ armor trend...
She did a great job, I think.. It's all very elegant and far removed from the custome-y
territory this look can easily fall into...
