Yep Abhay Deol has been cast as Mr Knightley...i haven't watched many of his films, but i've heard good things about him. I can't wait to see how they will look onscreen, i wasn't too sure at first but i guess we will just have to trust Sonam and her sisters judgement on this one! Anyone know how tall he is? (since Sonam's quite tall herself lol)

I don't know much about Abhay Deol, but I remember reading somewhere that he was 6'1", however he might not be.
Anyway when I was watching DevD he looked fairly tall, so I don't think he and Sonam would look awkward in the film together (also a lot of the actors wear lifts in their shoes as well Aamir Khan).

I really liked it! I thought a Sonam/Abhishek pairing would be odd, but they looked great together and played off each other well. Amazing cinematography!

I've seen two of Abhay's movies - Socha Na Tha and Honeymoon Travels. Honeymoon Travels was hilarious - so very corny!

I forgot he was in that film, so I have seen two of his films as well. All I remember from that film is Kay Kay Menon going crazy to Sajna ji Vari Vari.

indian_rose - Did Sonam wear all her mom's jewelry in Delhi 6? Because LOVED all the earrings she wore. Do you know if her mother sells the stuff she designs? And where we could purchase it?

I think she mentioned in an interview that part of the jewellery was designed by her Mother, and some of it was also antique pieces belonging to her Grandmother.

Unfortunately, her Mother doesn't sell anything online and doesn't have any stockists. She only does by appointment.... I'd love to have something designed by her one day, because it's all so gorgeous!
