I think she wore the Marc Jacobs dress better than the model as well!

The thing that stands out the most for me, from this editorial...is that she wears the clothes like a second skin. Anyone else, and it would have been the clothes wearing them! But Sonam seems to have the ability to carry just about anything!

You know what is funny about this whole thing is that if L'oreal really wanted to put aside the rumours that Aishwarya and Sonam are feuding they should have sent them down the red carpet together...

By not sending her it just makes it all the more believable that something is going on.

Anyway do you think that Sonam is going to pull out of IIFA? I know Amitabh Bachchan is the ambassador or something along the lines of that for IIFA, so it would make sense if she were to suddenly taken off the programme.

first, sorry for doubling posting! BUTT!! I think its so ridiculous that she isn't going to get to go to Cannes! I was so looking forward to seeing her there. And, I agree with you on that.

I'm sorry, but I can't stand Ashwariya these days. I was a huge fan of hers, but she got too stuck-up and that's ashame.

Well, don't you worry Sonam, you'll be at Cannes one day! and maybe if my book ever gets a movie deal, i'm so gonna demand her for the role of a certain charater; same for Dia Mirza *shifty eyes* lol

I agree that Sonam looks better than the model...by a mile.

I also agree that Sonam wears the clothes and the clothes don't wear her, she seems to have some innate ability to look gorgeous in pretty much anything. I also like the fact that she dresses her age and still manages to look classy unlike many other b'wood heroines.

Filmfare June 2009: Sonam and Imran

Sonam is on the cover with bollywood actor Imran Khan. They have been paired together in an upcoming film to be produced by Karan Johar and directed by Punit Malhotra (Manish's nephew).

They look good together imo...can't wait to see them onscreen!

I wasn't so sure about it at first, but i like how its another different cover from her (seeing as she has been on so many!).

Overall, imo it fits in with the shoot and gives an interesting taster of whats inside.

I can't wait to see the full editorial for this. As I already stated in the magazines thread, her HB issue is much better than the previous two (with Kareena and Deepika).

I finally read the article - she's so candid and I love it. Every interview of hers that I read makes me more fond of her. Even though I would have loved to see her on the red carpet during awards season with her dad, I respect her for not going and doing her own thing.
