Not really sure we needed Sonia Rykiel couture tbh, and Julie has yet to convince me otherwise.
This mess, Haute couture ? Really ?
I really like the knitted cape because it reminds me of the coats Nicolas did for FW2002 at Balenciaga. Some great pieces but this is unecessary.
I feel like today, the spirit of Rykiel is maybe at Stella McCartney.
Julie is trying to hard lately. They should call an old Chloé designer to handle this...
Why does this even exist.
As much as I am for casts with throwback models, this just doesn't feel cohesive. And is that one of the Jagger girls after Elise Crombez?
Some pieces are very interesting!
when i saw the title, i was like, Sonia Rykie? Couture? Seriously?
Few looks are not so bad to be shown in simply r-t-w collection but couture?
With this mess as haute couture? Are we kidding?
It's...interesting in parts, but it's a mess overall. It's incohesive, uninteresting, and so, so many things look cheap.
Ugh, the couture business is making money again and now every storied house wants to cash in. I think this collection is mostly unnecessary, at times an exercise in bad construction and the melting pot of references is unfortunate. The Margiela wedding look is just baffling.
You can throw in feathers and call it couture. There are few lovely looks here but this is very forgettable couture, let alone it wouldn't be a standout RTW collection.
Libran's RTW line is mediocre at best, she should focus on that before even thinking of doing couture.
To basically plagiarise a famous Margiela look for your closing slot in debut couture collection is absolutely baffling to me. You just declared yourself null and void.
EDT: I also see a lot of Haider, whats up with this woman?
