Sophie van den Akker helps Kikki K celebrate a milestone

SOPHIE van den Akker is a calendar girl with a difference.

The model is sporting a dress made from three annual diaries, two black notepads and 200 sheets of white paper, celebrating stationery company Kikki K's 10th anniversary next week.

The enveloping outfit was designed by creative agency Trial and Error.

Stationery retailers are reporting good sales amid a dismal wider retail forecast, with the likes of Kikki K and Smiggle posting strong profits.

To celebrate 10 years in business, the paper products giant, started by Swedish-born Kristina "Kikki" Karlsson, is releasing a retrospective wrapping paper book featuring popular Kikki K designs since 2001.

And the only pitfall of a dress you can pulp? Paper cuts - luckily van den Akker came away unscathed.
