I didn't think so at first as well....but after a while you start to see the similarities. They are both so gorgeous...I'm so jealoused! lol!

i think that you guys are being quite cruel and blatantly rude, of course you're entitled to your opinions of whether a model is pretty or not but it must be quite upsetting for Sophie if she ever sees this- people are just dismissing her without really looking at her pictures, and no she isnt modelling because of her sister: Sophie was modelling BEFORE gemma. Anyway, Sophie's not too serious about modelling, she is a published writer and will be focused on that.

You are comparing 2 different people and therefore 2 quite different looks! Sophie is more sophisticated, elegant and edgy whereas Gemma is childlike and innocent. What did you expect, Sophie to look exactly like her sister?! Boy, its like gemma is the comparison for everything!

For my part, i think that sophie has an ethereal, elegant (someone else said this) regal sort of beauty, gemma is perhaps slightly more conventional so may appeal to people more.She is such a lovely person, really nice and smart. And beautiful- well to me anyway.

Sophie talked on tv last night. I yelled "SOPHIE!!!" really loud when she talked and scared my mum.

okay, two things:
first, i wouldn't say sophie is beautiful, as i think she only looks pretty in print...not on runway...and runway is a more accurate picture of the model , heh. however, she is pretty.
second: OF COURSE she will be compared to gemma- doesn't matter if we like it or not, but she is the sister of one of the most IT girls of today...of course she'll be compared. durr.

oh, and a third thing, that's bugging me now:

and for anyone who says that sophie looks crap there, i do agree that it isnt her best picture, but she's so much more stunning in real life ( her editorials arent half bad!)

Yes, they are English. I watched the Showstudio thing Gemma did (with the dinner party) a while back and someone commented that her accent didn't sound Australian and she said it was because her mom is from England and taught her kids to speak that way. As for their father... Ward is an English name

there was an interview with sophie on ftv and she said that she was discovered when her sister entered search for a supermodel and was asked to come into the agency...weird?
