Hello.

My husband and I are heading for Spain this fall. We will be visiting Madrid...Bilbao...San Sebastian...Geurnica...then onto Barcelona. I would love to hear advice on fabulous shopping from the Louboutin's and the Manolo's of the world to little local treasures...Also, any specific 'districts' or 'neighborhoods'...I look forward to reading your replies:flower:

TIA!

Madrid: Plaza Callao for the Fnac store and El Corte Ingles Department store. there is also an H&M right there as well. you can get a LOT of really high end foodstuffs and gifts at the el corte ingles. There is also a Zara worth popping into. the Zaras in the USA are twice the price as the Spain Zaras.
Salamanca (Metro Salamanca on the brown line) for leather goods and higher end items. monica cruz has a boutique on this street. Lots of stores here.

Bilboa: There is one street with a lot of high end stores (calvin klien etc). i forget the name of the street, but bilbao is a very small manageable city. im sure youll find it.

Gernika: Not manyi high end stores in this town. however its a MUST see. the museum has just been redone. also visit the town hall. Gernika is a very spiritual place.

Barcelona: youll find some small beautiful boutiques in the Ravel and Passeig de Gracia neighborhoods.

Feel free to PM me for lots more info. :flower:
