Spring 07 wardrobe plans?

white, black, beige tones and pale rosa.

I haven't had pink/rosa items since I was a little girl, so it'll be much more romantic than the last couple of years.

I definately need a white summerdress. Think I'll buy a rosa too, if it fits (I know we'll recieve one in the shop where I work)

*minimalistic just above the knee dresses, preferable with short sleeves in grey, green and/or white.
*Nice black leather bag
*high-waisted beige shorts
*navy colored short sleeved cardi
*white shirt
*silver tulip skirt
*jumpsuit
*new Birkenstock's

Lots of white, navy, beige, pale pink, metallics, pale blue.
Kind of french, nautical, preppy. I want stripes, cropped trousers, cute tees, shirts, light sweaters, ballet flats, neutral shoes, a big bag...cute accessories, particularly gold bangles, hairbands...
basically, i want it all...

The new Lucky just arrived in the mail, and their summation of spring trends pretty much includes what's been said here ... the romantic pastels, the brights, the French sailor stripes ...

Here's a pic of the shoes I mentioned previously ...

I don't remember if I posted here yet, but if I did, I'll just do it again because I'm excited and want to talk about it. This is my Spring 07 plan, but also my many-years-to-com plan. I'm sticking with it.
Very classic menswear--v-neck sweaters, ties, collared shirts, and not another graphic tee for the rest of my life. But, a cosy look--long sleeve polos instead of woven shirts, lots of knit ties. And, youthful and dandy touches to make it more interesting than just plain preppy. Shorts, school uniform inspired, retro hats. Yesss I'm excited. Even my luggage will be classy.

i want to get into neutrals !!! (for the first time in my life, actually)
i've been extremely colorful with my wardrobe, but i'm really attracted to the basic colors like beige/silver & gray/black now.

bottoms:
none of the skinny/bootcuts.
it will either be wide, slouchy, or straight.
trouser cut dark wash jeans
straight black jeans
slouchy and boyfriend jeans
black knee length shorts
levis denim shorts

tops:
some color, but definitely nothing too bright.
will keep everything light/dusty/crisp.
colorwise im thinking muted pink and purple, and seafoam.

bags:
thinking about getting one brown leather bag and sticking with it.

utilitarian, clean cut, neutral, simple, with a little bit of vintage feeling is what im going for.

I'm going to start improving my wardrobe for Spring next week. I will go and shop for cotton t-shirts, a luxurious sweater and for a new leather wallet. It's nice to read about everyone's plans and ideas.

more vintage/thrift store or mid-range designer (high end for me!). i'm tired of seeing myself coming and going.

high heels. entry-level height for day.

slouchy, louche tops in natural fibers like cotton jersey or silk. otherwise, structured short skirts or loose short dresses. and boyish short shorts.

colors: no patterns, just seaside hues in blues, greens, and greys. and white.

a bit hippie vibe
add more color( but not in a barbie way:(...) im thinking about greens
metalics
a lot of cardiggans (simple colors)
black skinnies
shorts
chloe dress

im thinking about getting into adopt alexander Wang style also

Highwaisted jeans & maybe shorts
Satin in jewel tones
& I REALLY want that Prada headband (or a look a like)
Vintage pieces like my 2 new bags & my red jumpsuit

My workaday uniform will be little dresses with flat gladiator sandals and possibly a shrunken jacket or roomy cardigan as a topper.

I'm excited to break out my linen trousers. I have a pair in pale green that have a roll-up bottom and I think they'll look great with dusty pink suede platforms and a classic striped soft cotton buttondown shirt.

My plans are somewhat limited in scope as I've banned from myself from shopping this year as a test of willpower.

I never really have a look or style I go for, I always just buy what I like and work it into what I already have. Heres my s/s plans..

creme chloe jacket
chloe platforms
balenciaga sea green work bag
MJ ruffle tier top
MJ tank dress
Mcqueen yellow polka dot platforms
doo ri top
see by chloe top and shorts
MJ slate patchwork bag

These ones I'm not sure yet if I want to get or which ones to get..
Prada high waisted shorts?
Balenciaga grass green giant work or Chloe black quilted bag

I have enough bags and shoes and not nearly enough clothes but I cant help not buying shoes and bags

Dresses. Huge step for me. And clean straight lines. Kind of mod.

I may even wear black this summer. Somehow that always used to bother me.

I don't know what else. Spring/summer isn't my thing.
