Spring Or Fall?

I was just wondering, which season (Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter) is better (if it matters) for a new model to make her runway debut?

It depends on your look and style. If you look like your ready to step out on the beach or take a trip to St Tropez then S/Sum is best for you. If you have dark hair and light skin, that look tends to show up in the F/W shows. This is just something I've noticed the last three show seasons. The other contributing factor would be if you have any recent editorials in major mags, if so your face will be out there and that would be the season to hit all the castings with good results.

I agree. there are models who have been around a while before their big break
(My crystal ball says Taylor Warren will be the new C. Crawford!)

Yes, I notcied that also. I have been in NYC with model_mom during both seasons and there seems to be much more of a buzz during the s/s collections!
