I'm really familar with their music but and a friend and I are going to go to their concert tomorrow night.

they have some lovely songs, don't listen to them anymore though... for some reason... seem too earnest perhaps?

I'm a fan, still listen to them. They are quite earnest, which is part of the appeal, to me. It's strange - I much prefer my books, television series and movies to be cynical, but I love optimistic, hippiesque and, well, earnest music. Anyway, I hope you have fun!

they were great last night! you guys are all right that they are a very, very earnest band, but i think that's why i like them so much-- they were geniunely so happy to play and so grateful that people showed up. they're a very sweet and lovely band

yay I love Stars. I saw them at Lollapalooza last year. I havent heard the newest album but I LOVE set yourself on fire.

I love the lyrics to what the snowman learned about love, but I couldn't never get into their music.
