Stella McCartney for Target Australia

I Love NY said:
I'm not adverse to buying things for people - however I would want to know what the financial arrangements would be so I wouldn't be left with a bunch of stuff.

Paypal works...

Ebay works, too. I live in NYC and I'd consider buying a couple things from people..

Yeah, I just don't want to buy things unless I have some sort of guarauntee. And if I get there and all the 6's are gone I don't want to feel bad about not getting it. We'll see how I go.

laurenw...where in sydney are you?...
are you planning to check this stuff out?....
:flower:..
I'm in west Sydney- Blue Mountains. I did consider going to one of the city Target's like Bondi Junction but I figured there would be more woman after the range than there would be in say Penrith. Therefore I plan on going to Penrith and St Mary's (which is close to my school) so I can run to Target on my free periods and buy everything as it comes out on a school day.

I live in London and would def pay for whatever Stella item - please let me know who is up for buying stuff for whoever does not live in Australia - I am after the 2 coats at present, but have not see the whole collection yet
thanks

woah...those pics look really nice...
surely a LONG way from target US...

i can see why she would choose one over the other...

i assume the prices are australian $$$...yes?

Oh my gosh..I'm going faint:o !
Why did she turn down the US:angry: !!!

Lucky Australia:D

Can everyone keep the transactions to yourself via PM's? :flower:

I'll be PMing some of you Aussies myself.

omg, that collection is sooo beautiful!! why can't they sell this here in europe as well?? at least there's always ebay to rely on...(hopefully)

yes, but itemson ebay will be very expensive!!!
whoever is up to buy a couple of items for other members, could the state it clearly so that the rest of us may send a private message...thank you

wow, so nice.

but the price points! its funny how they are talking about how ridiculous it was that Patrick Robinson wanted to price a dress at 150 dollars in that thread, when this stuff is quite expensive

^ I agree with what you said about how Patrick Robinson wanted to charge $150 on a dress in that thread when this is also pricey. The exchange rate will make the most expensive item so far at $200 Australian Dollars be close to $157 U.S. Dollars.

That said, wow! This collection is gorgeous!

Just so everyone knows I would be happy to buy some things for a few people if the pieces are paid for via PayPal and before stock hits stores - I am going in the first day and getting my pieces first. I will then get other pieces and then work out postage later.
I really can't buy for more than say 3 people. (as long as they don't want the whole collection). I am so excited about this!!! Yay, Australia finally gets a break.

I don't know about everyone else, but I have Stella fever! Adidas, Target... ahhhhhh...

While I still think it's fantastic that Stella is producing a line for Aussie Target, those pictures don't really set me on fire. They seem a little ambitious for the Australian climate...

I look forward to seeing the quality of the garments though, especially the more basic pieces like the black suit.

if you read the thread carefully..
you will see that 'they' (US target) are not owned by the same people as australian target...
so it is not related...

and this is clearly one of the reasons stella turned down US target and went for the Aussie version...and also why teh clothes look better...
these are more along the lines of stella for h&m or even higher price and so also i assume -quality...

whats bizarre is that, as far as ive seen, the quality of aussie target has always been very similar to the us target...

the average price of aus target clothing would be about $29.95....ive never seen clothing in our targets in the range of what stella is asking...even the previous designer collaborations w/target have been considerably cheaper (someone correct me if i'm wrong)...

so hopefully the quality does reflect the price...
because i dont think the average target customer is going to be purchasing these items....

Adorefaith if memory serves me right I'm quite certain the previous designer collaborations Target have done (Alice Mccall, T.L Wood, Tina Kavalis) were roughly the same price. The dresses were about $180 AU however the range was not as large even with all of them together and the designs were much more simple than Stella's. I think the prices seem fairly reasonable.
