Stephan Schneider AW 04/05

Boring cloth

I love it how I am sitting in the chair and I am part of the fashion show(I am now part of Stephen's background) on the backround with all other Japanese buyers...

Where are you, ionn? There's two guys there,I see...

The collection isn't grabbing me, but that staircase reminds me so much of the one we had in our store. >sigh!< memories...

Thread resurected for those showing interest in this on other threads!

I like the sixth look. A lot. The rest seems to miss something.

OK, so one of our members' here (I'm sorry I forget your name at the moment) great interest in Stephan Schneider has caused me to need to revive this thread because the A/W 04 05 photos I remember are drastically different & look more like this:

(by the way it's listed as fall 2004 on firstview, and I always get mixed up--that does mean f/w 04-05 correct?)

Oh my, I like the looks you've posted, Cerfas! This is the first of Schneider's work that I've liked. I would wear nearly every piece. How is his stuff priced?

In short I wouldn't call this totally boring

 It's a subtle plaid-on-plaid. I like it, and I hate plaid!!!!! :o This is weird. Someone explain to me why I love this and want to wear it all. Mmmmm...

Like the jacket, very simple but so beautiful

i like the parka very much too. i remember that this particular piece wasn't that expensive, perhaps around 220euro, more or less.

AlexN-you're right, you couldn't even see the jacket was plaid from far away

battles--that isn't bad at all...where did you see it?

cerfas, it was at a shop in germany. i really can't recall the shop's name though, neither bought any stephan schneider's pieces. the entire previous a/w collection was alright, though i liked some of them, particularly the parka, but the sizing wasn't that slim, or small in this case. i wear 44 and when i tried on the parka in my size, it was rather big; seemed to be like a 48 at least to me. that being said here, the detailing and tailoring wasn't outstanding, i just can't agree more on that. perhaps it was the reason why it didn't 'buy' me.

'snidey' actually means cheap and nasty here in Newcastle...

It's all very nice in a posh Reiss kind of way.
