FROM dags to riches - NSW teenager Stephanie Field has seamlessly made the transition from bona fide farm girl to the high fashion of Paris.
She is just one of a string of Aussie beauties - including Gunnedah's famous export Miranda Kerr - in the bush.
Ms Field, 18, has been nabbed by New York modelling agency Next and will model at Paris Fashion Week this week.
The country girl grew up in Jugiong, northeast of Wagga, in NSW.
Her father, Michael Field, is the head of T.A. Field Estates - one of the biggest wool producers in the country.
Field joins a long list of regionally raised catwalk success stories.
The willowy model was scouted by Chic Management in her early teens but decided to finish her HSC before beginning her modelling career.
Field said she felt some of the life experience she'd gained on the farm would help her with her modelling.
"You have to be organised in the country, otherwise it's a 30-minute drive into town," she said.
