it definitely seems that anna is trying to follow some sort of formula of what is expected and what sells for vogue rather than attempting to push any sort of creative or artistic boundaries...
US Vogue is "safe" and anna wintour intends to keep it that way...
i think that meisel is smart in following what she wants because i'm sure it allows him to bring in a steady paycheck from vogue, and to also gain a higher profile
