Straight-leg Pants | the Fashion Spot

Straight-leg Pants

I'd be open to seeing higher-waisted pants come back into fashion. Poor Britney Spears wouldn't know what to do with herself. :innocent:

I've always worn high-waists...and most suits still have straight-leg patterns...

Yes, yes, and yes! I've never worn anything else. I hate those trashy low-riding Paris Hilton jeans that flare at the end. Straight legs are so much more flattering and stylish.

Low-riding is one of those things that went too far...originally everything was high-waisted so designers like McQueen invented hipsters...but now the only trousers or jeans you see worn are low-waisted...

Straight elg pants are definetly in, especially in ejans, Im so tired of flares, I love lwo rise though, so i woudl like to see low rise straight leg

The low waist/flared jeans/pants are overdone...its time for a change!!

seven and citizen of humanity make low rise straight leg pants.

love low rise straight leg jeans.... so comfy

high waist pants always remind me of the early 90s or something my parents wore...

even though straight leg pants are very flattering, I like low waist pants, they're more comfortable

I would like to see a more tapered high-waist trouser back in fashion. Its funny, i saw a couple of pictures with really nice suits,(SJP had the grey pinstripe suit    , Janet jackson and Janet Wannabe Britney) trousers being high-waisted and found myself say "WOW" as if its a new thing. funny huh :flower:

I liked straight leg pants, but I hate high waists! They aren't very comfortable. Low waists allow me to move freely, plus, they look better on my body. The only bad thing is that if they're too low, people often get a nice peak of my underwear when I sit down  . I still like flares, well actually I like bootcut better; just the slight flare is nice. I think they can still be worn if it goes along with your style, rather than still wearing it as a trend.

I cannot stand tapered pants though. Those are just not flattering on my body. They remind me of something my mom would wear. I guess they can be done in a stylish way, but I have yet to see that.
