Style My Hair

^hmmm really? i might look into that... i had one wayyyyy back in 9th grade haha i think i might like that...

thanks for the ideas! <3 <3

i hope here is the right place to ask this, i didn't want to open a new thread :)

i have short hair and now i want to style the front into a pony. my only problem, i have a stupid "swirl" there (i hope that makes sense. i am not english so i am not sure what the word would be, but my hair there is just not straight and now that it is short likes to stand in all directions lol) and one hairdresser once said i would never get my hair "straight" over my forehead because of that thing. i don't want to use a hair straightener though just for that one bit of hair (i'd most likely burn myself anyways :innocent:)
so, does any of you have tips or tricks how to get rid off that stupid "swirl"? i'd be so grateful :flower:

^ i have a swirl too... :(

i always try to straighten it if my hair is straight for the day or i'll try to just blow dry it as flat as possible but i can never fully get rid of it either :(

oh i am so glad i am not the only one *hugs* when blowdrying it i can make it a bit better but like you said, it never goes away completely...

Colour suggestions?

(my own photo)

(This was my hair a couple of months ago, the sides are now a few inches longer.)

I'm thinking about a colour change from my natural dark brown but I don't really suit very light browns/ blondes or black.
I was thinking of trying a dark auburn (all over tint).
Do you think that's a good idea, or do you have a better one? Or maybe I should just stick with what I've got?

^ I think your hair is gorgeous. shiny, dark brown with depth.

if i were you, i wouldn't mess with a good thing. ^_^

picnmix I love your hair! so cute i love the colour but if ur looking for a change maybe just go w/ a lighter brown like u said an auburn would actually be quite cute or maybe some honey coloured highlights too

i really love it the way it is though! <3

okay, so I went to the Hair Salon the day after Valentine's Day...and got this! it was based off of Karolina Kurkova's hair in an editorial that I had found in a mag, while there. I then decided to cut it a bit shorter. With lots of layers of course.

you can see my old hair in my profile..:yuk: lol

^ you may hate me for this but i liked your old hair better... i think it would have looked great with a some layering around the face

really? yeah I guess the length is definitly a change.
but I like it.;):flower:
I am going to be 20 this year and I needed to cut the locks a bit.
it is soo shaggy... lol

^ i can totally understand! i need to change my hair at least once a year or i get really agitated haha

i like your new cut for spring though it's fresh u know

I don't know what you look like but I think that hair cut will be flattering to most face shapes.

And thanks for the advice. I think I will stick with my natural colour, but sometimes I just itch for a change.

^ my photo is on the previous page hehe

thanks so much <3
i love your hair it's cute

My hair has always been a middle lenght, no longer than to my shoulders. But I've decided to grow then, cause I've always wanted to have really long hair. But now I think that I look kind of boring. I'm not sure what should I do-cute them, or not? I was thinking about bangs, but I'm not sure if they would suit me and what's more I have an oily skin so it may look not good after couple of hours. What do you guys think?:flower:

(I coudn't find better photo of my recent hairstyle)

i like it as it is right now. with the few face-framing shorter strands. perhaps you could cut in some more shorter layers like that if you find long hair too boring? i don't know about bangs either. if you do go that route, i think longer bangs would look better on you.

since summer is coming, soft, pretty long hair will look good, i think.
at the same time, a clean cut all one length would help give you hair shape and definition. it really depends on what you're going for.

i don't know if i've been any help whatsoever.

Thank you for your tips:flower::heart: No, I'll decide: longer bangs or a one lenght cut^_^ Thanks again:heart:

^ thanks i got it it looks a bit different than my last cute i think i'll let it grow out longer but keep the crazy layers!

I honestly have no idea what to do with my hair- but I am in desperate need of a change. Its naturally wavy and fine. I included one pic of it with a straight style. The most recent one is the one with the pinkish sweater. Sorry for such dumb pics but they were the best ones where you could see my hair lol
October was the straight hair
Jan was the curly
a couple of weeks ago was the recent one- my bangs are shorter than the other two pics.

Any suggestions are welcome! :flower:
