Suzie Bird

Weird how after a nice season she only has one show in Paris so far.

I think Céline had her on hold (mid-week exclusive) being that she was their Pre-Fall model. Glad to see her there, love that candid of her after the show.

I think you're right. I'm glad she's doing more shows now.

These are old photos, but I don't think they've been posted here. ^_^

I assume that the info is from an interview on fashion copious (fashioncopious.typepad.com) that was posted about a year ago. It's with photographer, Mara Zampariolo who gave a bit of a reason for the name change (seems plausible, but I guess since she's not one of the parties directly involved it could be inaccurate). Here's the bit to do with Suzie:

"Who are some of the girls that came across your lens that you thought extra highly of and that ended up making it in the industry?
Suzie Bird @ Elite. I met her when she had no agent yet in Paris: she was still Sandra Plassard by then.

They eventually changed her name to make it sound more exotic to the french market. It was clear from the start the girl had huge potential. I shot some test pictures of her, recommended her to some agents and she got very fast to the italian Vogue. Twice..."
