I assume that the info is from an interview on fashion copious (fashioncopious.typepad.com) that was posted about a year ago. It's with photographer, Mara Zampariolo who gave a bit of a reason for the name change (seems plausible, but I guess since she's not one of the parties directly involved it could be inaccurate). Here's the bit to do with Suzie:
