Whoaaa...these were taken last year I believe. For GQ (obviously). Love the short hair and scruff, the second and last ones... sina.com

Whoops, actually these are from the current GQ, so I guess these were taken very recently.

Really?? Thanks a lot for the pics but I have to say that short hair (and specially that cut) looks really bad on him IMO :( I hope it grows fast because it´s a shame to ruin suck a beauty.

Lol! I LOVE that short cut on him. I think he's looks gorgeous with it, more grown up. It accentuates his features and makes him look all rugged and manly and stuff:brows:. Ah well, to each his own, right?

Now if TK really wanted to ice the cake, he'd let that stubble grow out a little more. RAWR B)

Gorgeous production photos by Christopher Doyle from the movie Fallen Angels. The helmut one is so 'Takeshi", but the last one perfectly captures the energy and rebelliousness of that movie. It's one of my favortie movies of his and in general.

I just realized this picture: http://forums.thefashionspot.com/showpost.php?p=6274410&postcount=208 is actually a screen cap from an old movie of his called First Love...Litter on the Breeze. Really strange movie, but he plays another eccentric, grungy, and lonely character in love (which he does quite well). Karen Mok is in it too, and she's awesome.

Thanks for the pics!! I saw Red Cliff yesterday (it´s in the cinemas now in Spain) and I liked it a lot. He was gorgeous as usual (even with that little mustache) and his acting was great. I really enjoyed it.

According to Taiwanese media, Takeshi has had some work done on his eyelids,

According to the media he's also been secretly married a couple of times, gay, and now trying for a baby.

I've seen comments about the surgery thing, but there are early pictures and even parts of certain movies where the epicanthic fold looks evident, then later the lids look "double" (The Odd One Dies for instance). I think it had to do with tiredness, etc. Now, I think it's due to age. He just seems way too low maintenance to go forward with that kind of surgery, no? He doesn't play up his image or looks at all (the media does that). If he's not promoting a movie/working he's nowhere to be seen (unfortunately).

Yes, it was quite an epic! John Woo is a master at organization if nothing else:lol:. I saw the chopped down version of it at the Chicago Film Festival. It was very obvious that a lot had been taken out, mainly the character development, but you could still see what the relationships were like. Luckily the full length directors version came out here on DVD. He and Tony Leung have were so good, I liked Zhao Wei, too. Everyone in the theater really dug Takeshi though, he got the most reaction out of them.
